I loved Rihanna’s performance and immediately caught on to her subtle promotion of Fenty Beauty with her mid-performance touch-up. She and her team are savvy for sure! Some of the other commercials were okay, but the only one I really remember was the Bud Light spot where the couple dances to on-hold music. That is relatable!

I also #stayedforthesnacks. They knew the importance of subtle promotion, as most Gen-z are a bit desensitized when it comes to advertisement.

I’m a huge football fan, but I wasn’t super impressed with the commercials or the halftime performance. Commercial creativity over the last several has declined greatly. I’m guessing crowd sensitivity is a HUGE factor in this.

Totallllly agree @samantha.verissimo - personally I’d love to be a fly on the wall in those big brand rooms when they are throwing around ideas! It’s definitely changed over the years.

Im not a big football fan so I am always watching for the show and the commercials. Although I enjoyed the show and her new babybump reveal I was more excited about the Dunkin commercial, Doritos with Missy Elliot and Jack Harlow. But the breakout to me was the UBER ONE with all the singers like Kelis/Montell Jordan and the Ringy Dingy guys.

I think most people typically try to catch the ads now, be that during the event or via blog wrap-ups. It seems odd to me that so many of us now can’t wait to check out the latest commercials from the brands willing to pay the most! But, here we are!

The half time show was “okay” and commercials weren’t great. The football game was better than both lol.
